Oracle Park’s Free Summer Concert
San Francisco’s Giants are proud to present the first ever Levi’s Concert Series from now until September 27th. Enjoy a free pre-game concert before each Friday night home game. This week’s lineup is local artist, Barry Zito. No game ticket required!

Uncorked: SF Wine Fest
Uncorked Wine Festival is back for a special Friday night at the Fort Mason Festival Pavilion. Join them from 6-10pm and enjoy over 150 wines and champagnes, gourmet local food trucks and food vendors, live music by DJ Aaron Francisco, a custom photo booth and more! This event is 21 and over only.

SF Anime Festival 2019

Bay Area Brew Festival
The Bay Area Brew Festival returns for its eight year, bringing back dozens of breweries, hundreds of beers, food trucks, dj, photo booth, and much more!. Admission includes unlimited beer samplings, with VIP attendees getting an extra hour of admission and some specialty beers poured during the first hour. This event is 21 and over only!

Dusty Rhino Pre-Burn
It’s that time of the year again! Dusty Rhino is back at Public Works for our annual Pre-Burn extravaganza. Sundown Cinema Kickoff: Star Wars
It’s back! The annual Film Night in the Park kicks off with a blast from the past: Star Wars: Episode IV at Dolores Park. Films are presented free of charge. Attendees are encouraged to picnic before screenings but make sure leave your folding chairs at home. Come out and relax with a classic flick and enjoy the beautiful scenery of one of SF’s best parks!

The Great Mac’ n Cheese Melt Off
The biggest Cheese Festival in the Bay Area returns on National Mac‘n Cheese Day at SOMA StrEAT Food Park. With the mac ‘n cheese specials all day long from fifteen food trucks and pop-up shops, you will definitely have a gouda time! In addition to insane mac ‘n cheese creations, you can enjoy live music, lawn games, and a photobooth.

Bastille Day Festival 2019
Celebrate Bastille Day at this annual Belden Place festival while enjoying French food, beverages and many family fun activities. There will also be live entertainment and music. Dance, eat and have fun in the heart of what was once San Francisco’s French Quarter.

Flower Piano
Celebrating its fifth year, the annual twelve day long Flower Piano is one of the Bay Area’s most highly anticipated musical events of the summer. The events are different each day from sunset performances to community sing-a-longs to piano lessons. Not only will there be entertainment, there will also be three nights of after dark events with food trucks and outdoor bars.

Sundae Brunch
End the weekend with some FREE ice cream, yes FREE! To celebrate National Ice Cream Month, Humphry Slocombe and Square will be teaming up to give out free scoops of their collaboration flavor, strawberry banana ice cream with chocolate wafers at ALL Humphry Slocombe locations (SF, Oakland and Berkeley). You don’t want this deal to melt away as this deal only last an hour!

Happy almost Labor Day weekend! If you didn’t go to Burning Man this week and are looking for something fun to do, here are some of the top events happening in the Bay Area this long weekend!
1. Featured Event: BURNING MAN

Burning Man is finally here! This year’s theme is I, Robot, which is a tribute to the future, artificial intelligence, and everything in between. There will be so much to enjoy at this event. From art cars, mutant vehicles, sound camps, art installations and more, there’s something for everyone! And don’t worry, you’re not too late. The man doesn’t go up in flames for another 3 days, so get your tickets now!
2. Beach Blanket Babylon
August 29th-September 2nd | 8pm on MWF; 6pm or 9pm on Sat. & Sun |$25-$135 |Club Fugazi
The famous Beach Blanket Babylon is back this Labor Day weekend! If you don’t have time to go during the week, it’s playing Saturday and Sunday so don’t miss it. Don’t wait too long to get tickets because they will sell out! You can also find discounted tickets on Goldstar.
3. Shakespeare in the Park
September 1st-3rd | 2pm |Free Admission |Presidio’s Main Post Parade Ground Lawn
This event is for all you Shakespeare lovers! Come out to see A Midsummer Nights Dream. There will be a short intro at 1:30pm, so come early if you want to hear it and get a good seat on the lawn!
4. Sausalito Art Festival

One of the best art festivals in the Bay Area will be held this weekend in Sausalito, right across the Golden Gate Bridge! The festival includes fine wine, gourmet food, and premium beers. There will also be hundreds of pieces of art on display and live music all weekend long. There’s lots of fun to be had at this event!
5. Go on a Night Cruise

If you feel like blowing off some steam on Sunday night because you can (woohoo, no work on Monday), go on the Pier Pressure Party Cruise on the Cabernet Sauvignon Commodore Yacht. This three hour cruise begins with check-in at 8:45pm. Don’t forget to purchase tickets ahead of time!
6. Go on a Day Cruise

WorkshopSF Night Market

Every first Friday, WorkshopSF hosts an open house/party with DIY, art, fun and community. For August’s first Friday event, WorkshopSF is hosting a Night Market where they’re showcasing several vendors who used to take classes at their location and are now successful artists! There will be locally made wares, art, and designs available for purchase, as well as beer and mac and cheese. Bring your friends!
The 420 Games
August 4th | 8AM-2PM |$4.20-$50 |The Spreckles Temple of Music Bandshell in Golden Gate Park
Get some exercise and join in on the 5th annual San Francisco 420 Games! This event kicks off with a 4.20 mile run/walk/jog/ride (whatever you want), and leads into a Yoga cool-down at The Music Concourse Bandshell. Following the exercise portion of the event, there will be 2.5 hours of Beer Tasting from 11AM-1:30PM, industry exhibitors, live music, educational speeches, and more! If you want to show your support for marijuana or learn more about it, then this is the event for you!
Free Films in Dolores Park

The Film Night in the Park outdoor film series is back and kicks off this Saturday evening at 7PM! Every Saturday starting this weekend, a new movie will be played on a huge screen in Dolores park for a whole month. Attendees are encouraged to picnic before the film starts, and refreshments will be available at the park as well. The movie playing this weekend is The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert. Come out and relax with a good movie classic and the beautiful scenery of one of SF’s best parks!
Jerry Day

The 16th Annual Jerry Day is an annual civic and cultural event that celebrates one of the great rock guitarists of all time and San Francisco-native, Jerry Garcia. And yes, he did inspire the name of Ben & Jerry’s delicious Cherry Garcia ice cream flavor. This all day concert and festival brings together an eclectic group of performers, including several who played with the Jerry Garcia Band in the ’80s and ’90s. Don’t miss out on this festive event that is sure to make you feel nostalgic!
Beer Brewing Class

Learn how to brew a 1-gallon batch of a German Hefe Weissbier! You’ll quickly hear about the history and chemistry of beer brewing before getting hands on. Make your own beer to take home and taste samples from a few breweries. Now that sounds like a fun way to spend your Sunday afternoon!

For those Friday nights where you want to get off work and dance the night away, there is a DJ to the rescue. The annual Fillmore Jazz Festival will be held this Saturday and Sunday from 10:00am to 6:00pm on Fillmore Street between Jackson and Eddy Street. Jazz music, culture, and cuisine will be provided. Bring your family or grab some friends. It’s an event you don’t want to miss!

ABCey’s Weekend LineUp: 6.26.15- 6.28.15
It’s almost the end of June, the summer solstice just hit and it’s pride weekend, so why not close out the month with some fun events? There is a ton going on this weekend and the girls here at ABCey want to share our top picks!
1. 37ft. Intricate Wooden Burning Man Temple Unveiling
Friday, June 26, 2015 | 11am | 499 Octavia| Free
Today, there will be a free dedication event for artist David Best’s The Temple at Patricia’s Green. The San Francisco Arts Commission partners with Burning Man to reprise David Best’s popular Hayes Valley Temple from 2005. This 37 feet high sculpture made from wood will be in place for one year. It is meant to be a place of remembrance where people can write personal notes to loved ones on the artwork itself. Go and check out this amazing piece of artwork!
2. LGBT Night at AT&T
Friday, June 26, 2015 | 7:15PM – 10PM | AT&T Park| starting at $30
The Giants will be celebrating LGBT culture this Friday at 7:15 in their division game against the Colorado Rockies. Go and support your World Champions. Don’t forget, there will be post- game fireworks so you don’t want to miss out!
3. Beatnik Shindig
The 2015 Beatnik Shindig has cars, poetry, spoken word and jazz. Held at the Fort Mason Center and in North Beach this is the largest Beat Generation Conference held in 20 years. There will be free events as well as ticketed events, but tickets don’t cost anymore than $15. For a list of the weekends events click here.
4. Pink Saturday
Saturday, June 27, 2015 | 3pm-8pm | Castro District| $10
Pink Party is where all the pre- parade festivities will occur! It will all take place in the Castro District from 3pm-8pm. With 5 blocks of DJ’s, drag and other live performances across four stages there is sure to be a ton of energy, dancing and fun! There will be food trucks and a VIP Area as well. Don’t forget to bring $10 to donate at the gate, proceeds will be going to LGBT nonprofit organizations. Check out the Facebook event for stage and performance details.
5. Grateful Dead Concert
The Grateful Dead will be preforming a couple farewell shows at Levi’s Stadium this weekend as part of the “Fare Thee Well” Tour. These Bay Area Shows will take place just before three farewell concerts at Solider Field in Chicago. With 65,000 tickets sold pre night the are sure to be great crowds and excited fans for these finals shows.
6. Pride Parade
Sunday, June 28th, 2015 | 10:30am | Civic Center | Free
Fleets of colorful floats, vehicles, motorcycles and marchers will go along market street this Sunday in the San Francisco Pride Parade. The Parade will begin at Beagle street and end at Civic Center plaza. This year’s parade theme is “Equality Without Exception” so come out ready with lots of energy and excitement!
7. Alice’s Summer Thing
Sunday, June 28th, 2015 | 12pm- 4pm | 320 Bowling Green Dr. San Francisco, CA | Free
Alice 97.3 will be hosting their annual free concert in Golden Gate Park at Sharon Meadow this Sunday. This year they are featuring Kelly Clarkson, Matt Kearney, Rachel Platten and Elle King. There will also be food trucks, fun activities and plenty of good vibes, so be sure to stop by if your looking for some free music, food and fun!
