Guaclandia: Instagram-able Avocado Experience

Love avocados? Express your love at Guaclandia! The makers of the WHOLLY GUACAMOLE® brand invite Bay Area residents to visit Guaclandia, its one-of-a-kind mobile exhibit dedicated to all things avocado. It’ll be filled with Instagram-able photo ops paired with tons of guacamole on the side!
Craving Chinatown Food Fest

Craving Chinatown is the first food festival in the Chinatown community! It will feature a selection of restaurants and foods that bring back memories of the San Francisco Chinatown community. Local Chinatown restaurants will feature unique dishes and snacks as well as food demonstrations! It’ll be the perfect San Francisco weekend!
Street Soccer USA Cup Series 2018

We’re just as upset as you are that the World Cup ended! But not to fret, Street Soccer USA is coming to San Francisco! Teams from all ages and backgrounds will come together to share and to celebrate their diversity and passion for our city in our Social Impact, Corporate, and Open Cup competitions. Find your friends and cheer for your favorite team!
TreasureFest – Hawaii July
July 28-29 | 10am – 4pm | Cost: $5.00 | 500 Ave n, San Francisco, CA 94130
TreasureFest hosts 400+ local artists, makers, designers, antique collectors, under ground food start-ups, & more. Hope your bellies are empty and your dancing shoes are on because there are tons of food trucks and food tents with Hawaiian inspired dishes and local bands will be playing all day long! Also, the first 1000 each day get lei’d! (free leis).
Sunset Campout 2018
July 27-30 | Friday 12:00pm – Monday 9am | Cost: $205+ | Belden Town Resort, Belden CA 95915
Be prepared for a weekend full of amazing artists like Solar, Galen and J-Bird, to get you pumped! There’ll also be muralists and live painters, as well as art installations and interactive pieces. If you’re ready for a weekend full of fun in the river, friends, art, music, and food, pack your bags!

ABCey’s Weekend Lineup: Top 5 Bay Area Events 8/19/16 – 8/21/16
Happy Thursday everyone! Are you as excited for the weekend as we are? From the Pokemon World Championship Viewing Party to the Pacific Sound System Summer Boat Party & After Party, there are so many events happening. To help you plan the perfect weekend, ABCey Events has compiled a list of the top 5 Bay Area events for our Weekend Lineup!

1. Pokemon World Championship Viewing Party

Even with all of the Pokemon Go coverage, we still miss the good ol’ days. What are they? Pokemon cards of course! This Friday, you can watch the Pokemon World Championships and relive your childhood. Although the championship isn’t open to the public, you can check out the action at the Razer Store’s viewing party! In addition, this party will have tons of raffles and giveaways. If you’re a Pokemon fan, dress up in your best costume and play Pokemon Go with the masses!
2. Startup Basecamp Motel Launch Party

As you grow older, it’s harder to find and connect with like-minded people! Thus, Startup Basecamp was created to give entrepreneurs, startup professionals, investors, and digital nomads a place to both live and work! Not only is this a cheap alternative to hotels but it also gives professionals a way to connect. To celebrate the opening of their newest motel, Startup Basecamp is hosting a launch party with an open bar, refreshments, and a DJ. Come join in, network, and connect!
3. Noise Pop’s 20th Street Block Party: Food & Music Festival

Do you like music? Love great food? Want to support a great local cause? If so, head over to the Mission district and hangout with 15,000 people at this SF block party hosted by Noise Pop! On 19th & 20th Street, between Bryant and Harrison, this block party will fill the streets with alternative indie music from a variety of artists. There are 17 neighborhood food vendors, 29 craft business/artisan vendors, a cooking demo and more! You can get the VIP treatment with $95 Headliner Experience tickets or pay the $5-$10 suggested entry donation. But these funds are going to an amazing cause: the Mission Language & Vocational School! Also, if your 21+, go to the pre and after party for even more fun!
4. Bloom Festival & Campout
Sat-Sun, 8/20/16-8/21/16 | Sat, 11am – Sun, 7pm | $50 – $130, buy here | Lake Sonoma Resort
If you love electronic music festivals and camping, then this is the event for you! The Bloom Festival will have artists performing all day long, so break out your camping clothes and gear to stay warm. In addition, Jeno & Garth, DJ M3, DJ Sharon Buck, and Harry Who are just a few of the amazing performers at this festival! This event is all ages, but don’t forget to bring your ID! In addition, CalGang Thai Eatery will be there to give you amazing food and beverages. You can also take advantage of Lake Sonoma and bring a boat, or rent water equipment. Best of all, parking is free! Come enjoy the music and camp out under the stars this weekend at one of the top Bay Area events!
5. Sunset Sound System Summer Boat Party + After Party

Climb aboard the San Francisco Spirit this Sunday for an evening of great music and lots of partying! On this boat party, you’ll get to hear tons of great beats from DJ’s Galen, J-Bird, and Solar, and special guest, Chez Damier! Then, head over to Monarch for the official after-party. Don’t miss this opportunity to mingle, lounge, and dance the night away!

From boat parties and and food festivals to baseball games and flavor tripping parties(??), read on to discover what this weekend has in store!
Featured Event: Sunset Sound System Summer Boat Party | Sunday, August 17th | 5pm-11pm | Pier 3 | $55-60 | The Sunset Summer series is coming back to the Bay, but this time it’s on a boat! While a San Francisco August can make a ‘summer boat party’ seem like a bit of a joke when you’re wearing your bathing suit under tens of jackets, the feelings of summertime freedom and dance are still kickin’ when you are aboard! Included in the lineup is an array of San Francisco’s most well-recognized musical residents, including Galen, Solar and J-Bird as well as Honey Soundsystem star Jason Kendig, a man who is sure to bring in a fun crowd. Dance, lounge and mingle on the beautiful Bay as the boat rides off into the sunset!

James Zabiela at Mighty | Friday, August 15th | 9pm | The Mighty (119 Utah St, San Francisco, CA) | English-bred James Zabiela has been a path-forger of deep emotional house music around the world for over a decade. He has recently taken a shift in his musical production, steering away from super-dance and moving towards more personal tracks! The blonde cutie will be sure to deliver all of the emotion and personality that he is known for when he comes onto the massive soundsystem at The Mighty on Friday. And, one of our pals, Birthday boy Darren Grayson of DISTRIKT will be opening. This is a night not to miss!!
2. Flavor Tripping Party | Friday, August 15th | 7:30pm-9:30pm | Drake SF (508 4th St, San Francisco, CA) | $20 | This is the ultimate food tasting party! Flavor Tripping is a natural fruit that contains an enzyme that makes all sour tasting foods sweet! So eat lemons, limes, vinegar and other sour foods! They’ll temporarily taste surprisingly sweet. Trays of sour tasting foods will be passed around and all you have to do is put the berry tablet on your tongue and make sour lemons taste like lemonade! Unique flavor tripping cocktails will be included, so make sure you go check out this unique party!
3. San Francisco Street Food Festival | Saturday, August 16th | 11am-7pm | Folsom and 24th Street, San Francisco, CA | It is FINALLY that time of year again! The SF Food Festival is back and ready to go! With over 80 local vendors, this day is a celebration of the diverse population we live in in this great city! Cancel all your plans and head over to Folsom Street for a day you won’t regret!
4. BAVBB Presents 2014 Cal Cup Championship | Saturday, August 16th – Game 1: 12:30pm & Game 2: 3:30pm| Sunday, August 17th – Game 3: 12:30pm, Game 4 (Championship game): 3:30pm | Big Rec Field (Golden Gate Park 7th and Lincoln Ave. San Francisco, CA) | Tired of paying the Giants exuberantly priced tickets but still want to go to a baseball game this side of the bridge? This game is really cool, the three oldest vintage baseball teams in California take each other on this weekend in the Bay Area Vintage Baseball (BAVBB). Admissions are free so grab your kids or friends and head over to the Big Rec field and watch some baseball!
5.Urban Air Market in Dogpatch | Sunday, August 17th | 11am-6pm | Esprit Park, Minnesota and 19th Streets | The Bay Area’s favorite sustainable shopping event is prepping for their summer pop-up show in San Francisco’s historic Dogpatch neighborhood. The market will feature 100+ emerging designers and established brands, in addition to talented artists and musicians from our local creative community. Urban Air Market provides the Bay Area with a unique shopping experience that allows consumers to meet the designers and artisans of their favorite products, while making sustainable, eco-friendly and locally produced goods accessible to the public.
