It’s all about spreading the LOVE this weekend. ABCey brings you this week’s San Francisco Weekend Lineup with our fave Pride weekend festivities happening here in the Bay Area!
Pride Festival and Parade
It’s back! The pride festival and parade is one of the biggest events of the year! The Pride festivities include a two-day celebration and rally at San Francisco’s Civic Center that concludes with the big parade Sunday, June 30. Come along and be part of the festivities at the 49th annual Pride Festival and Parade!

When: June 29th-30th | 10am-6pm | Civic Center Plaza and surrounding Downtown area | Cost: Free
Pink Mammoth Block Party
Continue the pride spirit with the best party in town, the 7th annual Pink Mammoth Summertime Block Party! Located in the heart of Downtown San Francisco, this year will feature musical stylings from THE DUSTY RHINO and different food trucks. Don’t forget to wear all the pink you own.

When: June 29th | 12pm-10pm | Mint Plaza | Cost: $15-$35
Mango Pride
El Rio’s annual Pride Parade after-party is a night of dancing outside to hip-hop, dance hall and Latin grooves. Also, you can keep the party going as you groove to the music inside ALL night long. Furthermore, free barbecue, treats and other pride goodies to fuel you up through the night.
When: June 29th-June 30th | 6pm-2am | El Rio (3168 Mission St.) | Cost: $20 at the door

Frameline 43
Come join 60,000 attendees to celebrate the 43rd annual San Francisco International LGBTQ+ Film Festival. This 11 day celebration that started on June 20th will be wrapping its last show this Sunday, June 30th. Come for the premieres, parties, panels, stars, and more and embrace the spectrum of identities that make up LGBTQ+ communities worldwide!

Identify and Pride: Youth Art Show
This exhibition from youth members of the Boys & Girls Club of San Francisco’s Citywide Arts Programs, reinvent the iconic rainbow flag in honor of SF’s 49th annual LGBTQ Pride Parade and Celebration. It gives us a glimpse of youths living in Bayview-Hunters Point, the Tenderloin, the Mission, Excelsior and the Western Addition of San Francisco, while exploring themes of gender, sexual identity, love and community.

It’s almost Friday! ABCey brings you this week’s San Francisco Weekend Lineup with the top events in the Bay Area! It’s going to be packed with lots of LGBT pride!
Weekend Lineup: Giants LGBT Night

Celebrate the Bay Area’s rich LGBT culture with the San Francisco Giants! If you purchase a special event ticket package, you’ll get a ticket to the evening’s Giant’s game, access to a pre-game party, and a limited edition gift. Part of the proceeds will go towards supporting local LGBT-focused non-profits!
SF Pride Parade Celebration
June 23rd | 12pm-6pm |Tickets|Civic Center Plaza
It’s that time of year again! Come out to all the festivities to prepare for the 47th annual celebration of lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender pride! There will be inspirational speakers, music, food, and more to get you excited for the parade on Sunday.
Pink Mammoth Block Party
June 23rd | 12pm-9pm |$15-$20 Cover|119 Utah St.
The 6th annual Pink Mammoth Block Party will be happening again this year! Join in on the fun and wear all the pink you own. There will be lots of dancing, musical stylings provided by Thomas Jack and Pink Mammoth residents, and food! SF Pride Parade & Rally

Want to really show your pride? Make a sign and come march in the parade or cheer on the crowd! There will also be festivities like inspirational speakers, music, and food to enjoy as well. This event is a special tradition that’s near and dear to SF’s heart, so join in and wear your brightest apparel!
Frameline 42, International LGBTQ Film Festival

The film festival that came to town on June 14th will be closing this Sunday, June 24th! Come see some groundbreaking documentaries, cinematic classics, and heart-warming films. Don’t miss out on the longest-running, largest, and most widely LGBT cinema film exhibition in the world!
Whether you want to showcase your pride by joining a crowd in your brightest outfit, viewing an LGBT-related film, or by enjoying some baseball, there are plenty of ways to show some LGBT pride this weekend!

4th of July Events in the Bay Area
July 4th is here and it’s time to celebrate! There is lot’s going on today, and we want to make sure you’re in the know of the best Bay Area Events. Look no further, ABCey has 5 exciting 4th of July events you definitely don’t want to miss!
1. Alameda: Mayor’s 4th of July Parade & South Shore Center’s 4th of July Festival
Mayor’s Parade: 10am | Free | Starts at Lincoln & Park St. (route map and directions here) | *No Fireworks
South Shore Center’s Festival: 3pm-5pm | Free | Alameda South Shore Center | *No Fireworks
Here are two events in one with a huge parade and a somewhat “official” after-party at the South Shore Center. With about 140 floats, 2,500 participants, horses, and dancers, Alameda Mayor’s Forth Parade is one of the largest and longest Independence Day parades in the entire United States! After this spectacle, keep the party going at the South Shore Center. There will be live music, pet animals, get henna tattoos, face paint, play games, participate in raffles and jump in the bouncy house! There are also plenty of stores to shop at and places to eat, so come on out and enjoy this exciting parade and then head on over to the post-parade party!
2. San Francisco: Pier 39
Starting at 11am | Free | *Fireworks at 9:30pm for about 20min
Want to have a full day of celebration and be at a prime fireworks spot? Then go to SF Pier 39! Spend the day at the pier shopping, eating, and going to the aquarium. From 11am-5pm, you can check out exhibits west of the Entrance Plaza, then hear the band Tainted Love play your favorite 80’s tunes. Last, but not least, watch the extremely popular City and County of San Francisco’s Fireworks Show at 9:30pm with the best 180 degree view from Pier 39.
3. Berkeley: 4th of July Fireworks & All Day Festival
Noon – 10pm | Free, $15 vehicle parking | 201 University Ave, Berkeley | *Fireworks @ 9:35pm | info here
This festival will fill all your 4th of July celebration needs! There is a main stage with music from noon until the fireworks show at 9:35pm and music at the food court from 2pm-8pm. The Shorebird Park is part of this festival and has an Adventure Playground with Waterballs, a Bungee Trampoline, and another stage with magicians, jugglers, and more! If that isn’t enough, throughout the marina there are great food trucks and booths as well as: carnival rides, kite flying, a giant slide, train rides, drumming sessions, dragon boat rowing rides, sumo soccer, nerf tag, a photo booth, face painting, crafts, pony rides, a petting zoo, AND their huge fireworks show! With everything here, why wouldn’t you come and enjoy the fun?
4. Jack London Square: July 4th Festival of Family Fun
11 am-4pm | Free | Jack London Square | *No Fireworks
Spend your July 4th afternoon at Jack London Square for loads of family fun! This festival offers musical performances, clowns and puppets, interactive activities, a petting zoo, face painting, fun crafts and delicious treats. If you couldn’t tell by the name, this event is also great for kids. Although there aren’t any fireworks, this festival ends early enough for you to go wherever you want after!
5. San Francisco: 5th Annual July 4th Pub Crawl
4pm – 11:59 pm | $7-$15; order early: $12; groups either $9 or $7 depending on size | info here |*No Fireworks
If you’re in the patriotic celebratory mood and 21+, join in on this pub crawl. Order tickets ahead of time, receive a discount with larger groups, check-in early, and get a discount on all of the pub crawl bars from 4pm – 12am. There will also be an after party, so get yourself and your friends right on over for drinks and to celebrate Independence Day!
